The recording is quiet when I use the browser recorder. Why?
Answer:
If your recording is very quiet , it is possible that you:
i Did not adjust the input volume with slider on the recorder. Before recording you should test the input level by speaking into the mic and adjusting the slider until the level is peaking in the orange segments of the volume display.
ii Were too far away from your mic for it to pick your voice up properly.
iii Have plugged the mic into the Line socket on your sound card by mistake. You will know you have done this if the recorder displays the word "Line". It should say "Microphone".
iv Have a mic that is not suitable for PC recording. Check with your PC dealer.
v Have a low quality or faulty sound card. If you're recording level is very low you should consider a mic amplifier or a USB mic.
